// 01 — About this game

Every floor is built the moment you reach it

Superposition VR is a single-player VR shooter roguelike. You fight down through increasingly harder levels filled with different types of enemies that force you to adapt your gameplay, and the deeper floors hide specially tough ones.

The arenas are procedurally generated and filled with relentless zombies, shifting rules, and powerful attractors that bend movement and combat. Each run is different, forcing you to adapt, improvise, and master controlled chaos.

// 02 — What you are signing up for

A roguelike that happens to be attached to your body

You duck for real, you reload for real, and when something grabs at you from a dark doorway you find out how far your living room actually extends.

01

Floors built on the spot

Room layouts are generated when the run starts. The route you memorised last time is gone, and so is the corner you liked hiding in.

02

Enemies that escalate

Zombies get faster, tougher and stranger the further down you go. The deeper floors keep a few specially nasty ones in reserve.

03

Whatever drops, drops

Pistols, a shotgun, an AK, a baseball bat, a frying pan. You keep what fits in the inventory bubbles and you live with the choice.

04

Rules that bend mid-run

Attractors pull at bodies, bullets and you. Gravity stops being a constant and starts being a thing you have to plan around.

05

Save, quit, come back

Hit the menu button to save anywhere, with Steam Cloud keeping your progress between machines. A run can outlast one sitting.

06

Tutorial and sandbox

Learn the controls in a side room first, or drop into sandbox mode and just find out what a grenade does to a stack of furniture.

// 03 — The arsenal

Seven ways to make distance

Nothing is guaranteed. The run decides what is lying on the table, and your inventory only holds so much — so half the game is deciding what to leave behind.

  • Two-handed weapons that actually want two hands
  • Melee for when the magazine runs dry at the wrong moment
  • Grenades, and the physics to regret throwing one indoors
  • Reach out and fetch a dropped weapon without walking into the room

// 04 — Early Access

It is out, and it is not finished

Superposition VR launched into Early Access on 4 February 2026 and is expected to stay there for several months. The core loop — generate a floor, arm yourself, get further down than last time — is playable end to end today. What comes next is more enemy types, more weapons and more of the systems that bend a run sideways.

If you buy in now you get every update as it lands, and your feedback on the Steam forums genuinely shapes what gets built. If you would rather wait for the finished thing, wishlist it and we will see you later.
